Hangout was my first backpacker experience. Glad it was first. Very first rate amentities. Coming back again. Had two issues, one - that the AC was 'optimised' (read normal temp) to suit larger audience in such weather conditions (I prefer much cooler), and two that most taxis didnt know where the hotel is, it was nice.

Stayed with my son for 5 night5s,staff made us feel very welcome. Great spot for accessing the city and local amenities. Rooms great clean fresh and fairly spacious. Free internet is fantastic for keepin gin touch whilst travelling. All in all a great stay and we would stay again when in Singapore.

I liked the location and the security as well as the roof top garden. Also staff was very friendly and helpful.

It is exactly what it says - No frills, just fun. The staff were excellent, really friendly, extreamley helpful and always with a smile on their face! A friend and I stayed in a twin room. Would recommend it to anyone. Also brilliant location.

If you want somewhere affordable, quiet and within walking distance to transport and little india + the city centre, then this is the place. I was comfortable here, even if there is a construction site next door. It stops work in the evening, but goes all week. The staff are friendly and the amenities are all there and just what you need to get by. If I come back doing the budget thing again, I'll stay here again!
